Here is a link to Pope Benedict's latest encyclical, Spe Salvi, on Christian hope. I haven't had a chance to read all of this yet... it came out on November 30th. But you all may want to look at it, especially after reading his first encyclical, Deus Caritas Est, on Christian love. Ok, enjoy:

Hannah, I plan to read this over Christmas. I wonder what people would think about an open to public colloquium on the encyclical sometime next semester...thoughts?
